Who
is John Doe #2?
Last week
transiting Mars and Neptune turned retrograde within 15 hours of each
other, creating a momentary global awareness of violence and murder shrouded
in sudden mystery and suspicion. Within this narrow time frame U.S. Attorney
General John
Ashcroft issued the surprising postponement order of Timothy
McVeigh's execution.
Ashcroft's
decision to delay the execution by one month was based on the discovery
of over 3000 pages of FBI evidence. Immediately after the Oklahoma City
bombing (April 19, 1995; 9:02 am) the FBI reported it was looking for
a John Doe #1 and a John Doe #2. Later, after conducting exhaustive interviews
and research, the FBI dropped John Doe #2 as a suspect, and said that
John Doe #1 was Timothy McVeigh, and the only participant at the scene
of the crime.
McVeigh's
lawyers are currently poring over the withheld FBI documents. If evidence
of a John Doe #2 was zealously and illegally hidden, then McVeigh's execution
stands to be overturned. The ongoing issue of trust in the government,
the FBI's potentially fraudulent negligence, and the suspicion that McVeigh
wasn't alone can all be seen astrologically by Neptune's exact square
to the U.S. Scorpio Ascendant. (Editor's Note: WolfStar uses a Scorpio
rising U.S. chart.)
Documents
are ruled by Mercury. In the U.S. horoscope Mercury is under growing pressure
from transiting Uranus, which will turn retrograde, meaning reach maximum
influence, on May 29. At the same time the Sun will pass over the U.S.
Uranus, creating a double Uranian influence. Watch for stunning developments
in this case on or about May 29.
Who
is Killing the Whales?
A NewsScope
reader asks "With the recent publicity surrounding the Naval submarine
incident in Hawaii, the spy plane in China and the campaign regarding
the effects of sonar on whales and dolphins, it would appear that the
United States Navy is experiencing some challenging transits. Could you
provide your readers with the natal information for the United States
Navy?"
The U.S.
Navy can be tracked several ways. In the U.S. horoscope, Mars, the natural
ruler of the military, squares Neptune, the natural ruler of the seas.
In the algebra of astrology, this equals the U.S. Navy. Transiting Neptune's
long-term square to the U.S. Ascendant shows the Navy's ongoing role in
current events, including cinematic glorification in the movie Pearl
Harbor (coming soon to a theatre near you).
Then,
according to a cherished tradition, the U.S. Navy was created by an act
of the Continental Congress on October 13, 1775 (set for Noon, Philadelphia).
This horoscope accurately reflects historical events involving the Navy,
with transiting Saturn's challenging aspects to the natal Mars-Uranus
opposition frequently leading to open conflict with the enemy. Check,
for example, the battle at Midway: June 4-5, 1942, and August 4, 1964
when North Vietnam attacked the U.S.S. Maddox to kick off the Vietnam
War.
On April
1, 2001 when China captured the Navy spy plane, transiting Saturn was
exactly opposite the Navy's Mars. Currently Saturn is heading for an unstable
conjunction with the Navy's Uranus, exact on June 9. The week preceding
June 9 is when the U.S. Navy deploys its super loud sonar* across 80 percent
of the world's oceans.
Who
Killed Robert Blake's Wife?
On Friday
May 4 about 9:35 pm Robert Blake's wife was shot to death just outside
an Italian restaurant. Blake, best known for his role in the TV series
Baretta, says he went back to the Studio City restaurant
to get his forgotten handgun when the incident took place, although over
the past week there's been much confusion and contradictory statements
over exactly what did take place.
Robert
Blake was born an orderly, perfectionist Virgo (September 18, 1933; 8:30
am; Nutley, NJ**), with his Sun and three other planets locked away in
the secretive Twelfth House. Blake describes his childhood life as one
of being abused and victimized by his parents, which contributed to his
intense psychological anxiety and alcoholism. The Sun's close links to
Uranus and Pluto heighten the personality's chronic nervous tension and
paranoia.
With charming
Libra Rising, and a witty, outgoing Mercury-Jupiter conjunction, Blake
could play the clown. But Blake's TV and movie roles usually depicted
a man of violent action, notably in Truman Capote's In Cold Blood.
These depraved psychotic characters reflected Blake's own tendency toward
violence, as seen in the jealous Venus and ruthless Mars in Scorpio square
Saturn.
Did he do
it? We may never know whether or not he actually pulled the trigger. Transiting
Uranus is forming an ominous yod configuration with his Pluto and Sun,
indicating a fateful turning point in his life. Transiting Neptune is
in a long-term square to his Juno, the symbol for his wife. This connection
shows her as a scam artist, as well as the ongoing murder mystery.
