Conference
was a great success!
(October 18, Seattle, Washington) Approximately 80 astrologers gathered in Seattle for a weekend of presentations and seminars. Attendees learned practical skills in developing, promoting and maintaining a successful and fulfilling
astrological practice.

This conference was sponsored
by ProSIG, a Special Interest group of
NCGR (The National Council on Geocosmic
Research) and the Organization for Professional Astrology.
StarIQ was represented at the conference by its founders, Rick Levine and Jeff Jawer, and Communications Director, Gail Goldberg. Rick delivered a presentation entitled, "Astrology and the Internet." He also participated in a panel discussion called, "The Future of Astrology."
"Astrologers at Work" was an important
conference. Astrology, as a profession, is not generally recognized or understood. Although there are thousands of highly qualified professional astrologers offering their services, the astrology industry is
not a regulated industry. It is more like a community of individual
practitioners, local associations, schools, and hobbyists. ProSIG and the
Organization for Professional Astrology are leading the way in efforts to
address issues that will continue bring the profession of astrology more into the
mainstream.
