Hey Folks! Thanks much for this article. Upon reading this, I became aware of how many who are not primarily Mercury ruled (Sun/Moon/Asc) so freely and unabashedly use Mercury for Communication. And for the many people I've known who are Gemini and strongly mercurial, I observe them to feel most vulnerable and inept with regard to their communication/learning abilities.
This fascinates me. In this same manner, my Pisces Sun, Merc and Scorpio Moon and Neptune are terribly vulnerable in the feeling realm! Course, Pluto may well be a dynamic factor in my observations!
Still, I am fascinated by our achiles heel as it may often derive from what is potentially our greatest strength.
And here I am back to polarities!

Hi Alice -- This is such a wonderful article and so appropriate as we prepare for Mercury's first retrograde in 2000.
