I fully enjoyed this article. It is beautifully written, well researched, and the astrology is integrated in a well balanced fashion. Really, quite brilliant. I have heard smatterings of the 20-year Presidential death cycle from time to time, but never knew the source. The odds seem to rule out coincidence. I am puzzled, however, by Rick Barnhard's comments on this page. I would think it more likely that this scholarly piece is a warning; and as Shirley MacLaine likes to point out, "forwarned is forarmed." A friend of mine told me that Joan Quigley (Reagan's astrologer) and the Reagan's were well aware of "the curse" and this knowledge resulted in a doubling of secret service agents for public appearances. This might have saved his life! Maybe Ken's article will do the same.
Astrology and many other systems view death as a cycle, rather than just a physical phenomena. It is obvious to me that GW Bush has indeed undergone quite a death cycle in synchronicity with the Saturn transit. The sight of so many people slowly plodding around Reagan's casket was difficult for me to understand. I can celebrate his strong spirit, but I think that body and casket are only a reflection of people's limited material consciousness. |

It seemas as if Mr. Kalb is trying to invoke the curse and haviing written about it more than once, he seems to be finding pleasure in hoping it will happen. Someone with an audience like his should be more responsible. |

Just a thought. As Reagan is the only president to survive the curse, and the curse has arrived again ( a debt to be paid?), is it possible that Reagan 'chose' this time of death to satisfy the curse he escaped and at the same time spare Bush his having to pay with his life??
Or could it be the 'curse' has come back to claim it's only survivor. I'm wondering if Reagan must have "volunteered himself as payment" or whether HE himself had the curse on him that somehow required payment.
The timing of Reagans death seems so "timely and interesting" given this curse.
another less pleasing thought to consider would be: did this curse set up a "stage/command" to the Indian Tribes to assassinate presidents ever 20 years or so??? Was it intended as a PLAN OF ACTION or just I WISH YOU.....
Maybe the two are the same???
